This is the skeleton of the stilts without fur so you can see how they’re made. Cheap to do using normal hardware — this is a design that does NOT rely primarily on duct tape! Check out the book and the sizing video, the 3D models in the book are great layouts and the sizing videos shows you how to get the lengths for your custom stilts.
put a block of wood on the front of the toe to help hold you up and also add some rubber on the bottom to help prevent slipping around

Hey whare do you get the book
hey, i got some oak that’s only 1/3 of an inch thick, if i reinforce the bottoms of the backs foot boards then will that be sufficent? also, how did you get a straight angle on the ends of your boards?
where do i buy the leg supports or how do i make them? also, does it matter if i put the pivot point toward the back of the side of the board instead of under the heel?

OMG I did it and my channel background briefly turned into a very detailed photo of ambiguous genitalia!! I had NO idea how large and swollen looking that part of the female body could be! Wow! Then I did it AGAIN, and the fifth time I hit the F10 key, my mom developed ambiguous genitalia! Holy crud, this F10 thing is VERY POWERFUL.

@NeonColorsDrummer These don’t take the same kind of punishment that metal and plastic movie stilts do. When we made a pair of UBER stilts for a demo, Ben actually sheared the wood so much that a week after the demo the toe hinge ripped off. To be fair, the stilts were super light and dainty for the 13 inches of height they offered, but the stuff in underworld is harder to mimic for less than 50 bucks and simple tools.
@spandexxking Yup, just liek Bob Villa, who also does crap with wood and hinges. But, honeysuckle, not fur fag: Prop designer. I don’t wear costumes, I just get paid to make costumes But again, the fag designation is a 1/10 thing, so you really want to be more accurate in your usage, but I’m glad you’re using your words more properly. Now remember, we’re lame, but that doesn’t mean gay. there are plenty of unlame gay people.
